Geoff Beattie is an international communications consultant who has advised some of the world’s biggest organisations on strategy and crisis management over the past 20 years including in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. He comes to ASDA’A BCW from BCW Global in New York, where he was the agency’s lead for Crisis & Issues in North America.
Over the past 20 years, Geoff has advised governments and major companies around the world on a diverse range of issues: climate change and the world’s energy transition; economic and political development in the Middle East; deforestation in Indonesia; and the future of banking in Europe. Geoff spent over 15 years managing communications agencies in London, before embarking on new assignments in the Middle East and North America. His professional background is in television and newspaper journalism in the London and Glasgow, which means that he brings a journalist’s critical eye to major client challenges.
In his current role with ASDA’A BCW, Geoff focuses on communications strategy, advising clients on emerging trends in public affairs and how they impact reputation. He continues to specialise in crisis management, and spearheaded the development of BCW Global’s new Reputation Resilience Unit.
Geoff is recognised as an innovative thinker in the communications industry, having devised and launched Cohn & Wolfe’s award- winning ‘Authentic Brands’ series in 2013. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts (FRSA) in London.
